Let the games begin

opening day

My 12 inch coed softball team opened the season at Grant Park earlier this week. Last season, playing up in Lincoln Park, we did OK, going something like 3 and 4. This year we started off the season with a bang. I hit leadoff, and am NOT a power hitter, but I led off the game (and the season) with a homer. The next 3 batters also homered. I've been playing baseball or softball since I was 5 and I don't think I've ever seen back-to-back-to-back-to-back homers ever, much less to open a game (or a season). We won 21-7.
