Opening day duel

So it was a pitcher's dual under the unseasonably warm springtime sun on the southside yesterday.

Can you read a box score? Buehrle pitches 8 great innings, giving up just 2 hits. Striking out 5. Mr. Zero gets the save. Konerko gets 2 hits and drive in the lone run. Course if Ozuna had been in the line up...

I started in on Moneyball and so far Beane is not coming off as a super genius (though I have no doubt he is). He passed on both Bonderman and Sheets, though for Sheets at least it was for Zito. Only time will tell who winds up being the better of those two.
