Sox Upate: Behind another amazing pitching performance, this time by Vazquez, the Sox beat KC 4-0 and move back into first place in the AL Central. sPods went 2 for 4 and has pushed his average above .200.

DOWN ON THE FARM:

Charlotte (AAA): A 7-run 3rd caps a 12-4 win vs the Medhun. Owens homered and drove in 4. Philips stuck out 5 in 6 IP.

Birmingham (AA): BEat Tenn 4-0. Getz was 3 for 4. Collaro was 0 for 4, but at least he didn't strike out.

Winston-Salem (High A): The Hog lose uneventfully, 2-1.

Kannapolis (Low A): Thankfully, wednesday was an off-day. Hope they took some fielding practice.

Old Tyme Movie Review: El Callejon de los Milagros (1995). Spanish with English subtitles. A young Salma Hayak in an interesting drama on the lives of some people in the neighborhood, at a crossroad, lookin fer love.

Noble Rot: picked up a bottle of Charles Shaw (aka 'two-buck Chuck') Savignon blanc at Trader Joe's over the weekend. Very drinkable for the price. Certainly a better value than any Pinot Grigio out there.

I finally got my settlement in the class action lawsuit against Apple re: the iPod battery life. Spent the $50 store credit on some JVC headphones and lil Sony speakers. Cary Hudson never sounded so good!
