Sox Update: Where to begin. A 6-0 win at Oaktown. Ozuna is 2 for 3 with 2 SB in the leadoff role. Widger went 2 for 4 with a homer and 2 RBIs. Garland goes the distance in another masterful outing- he's now 4-0. More tonight.

Down On The Farm:

Charlotte (AAA): the cellar-dwelling Knights win their 2nd in a row, beating Richmond 5-3. Spidale goes 3 for 4. Adkins gets the win, striking out 5 and giving up 3 ER in 5 1/3rd IP.

Birmingham (AA): lost 4-1 at Tenn. Owens and Stewart collect 2 hits each.

Winston-Salem (A): had an off day. Look for a Q&A with Tom Collaro to be posted here later this week.

Kannapolis (A): had the day off.

Baseball phrase of the day: throw darts v. to pitch with great control.
